At a glance
The best dropshipping spy tools depend on your channel. Minea is focused on Facebook ads, PiPiAds goes deepest on TikTok ads, Kalodata and FastMoss track TikTok Shop sales, AdSpy searches Facebook and Instagram, and PPSPY, Shophunter or Dropship.io watch Shopify stores. Most paid entry plans cost $29.90 to $49.97 a month.
Prices and features come from each vendor's official pricing and help pages, read on the date given in the article, from Europe and the US when prices differ. We did not run hands-on tests for this article. SpyBox publishes this page and earns money from its subscription, which includes the tools marked In SpyBox.
Dropshipping spy tools show you the ads, products and stores that already sell, so you spend your test budget on fewer losers. This guide compares 14 of them by channel: Facebook and Instagram ads, TikTok ads, TikTok Shop and Shopify stores. Prices come from each vendor's own page, read on 5 November 2026. When a vendor hides its prices, the table says so, and third-party figures are labelled as such.
SpyBox publishes this guide. Most of the tools below are included in SpyBox, a desktop app for Windows and Mac that gives you 35 ecommerce and AI tools for one subscription. FastMoss and the Meta Ad Library are not included, and we still recommend them where they are the better pick.

What does a dropshipping spy tool do?
A dropshipping spy tool collects public ads, store data or marketplace sales so you can see what already sells before you spend on ads. The tools in this guide fall into three families.
- Ad spy tools search ads running on Facebook, Instagram or TikTok, with filters such as country, date and engagement. Minea, PiPiAds and AdSpy are the main ones.
- Store spy tools estimate what a Shopify store sells and which of its products lead. PPSPY, Shophunter and Dropship.io do this.
- TikTok Shop analytics tools rank products, shops and creators by estimated sales. Kalodata and FastMoss are the two in this guide.
The sales figures in all three families are estimates. Kalodata models them, and Shophunter says it works from traffic patterns, ad counts and conversion behaviour. Treat them as signals that point you to a product, then confirm with a small test.
We picked tools a dropshipper can use for product research, then read each vendor's pricing and feature pages. The order below follows the channel, from multi-channel ad spy to single-purpose store tools, and ends with the free option.
The 14 spy tools, one by one
1. Minea: the all-rounder for Facebook ads
Minea starts at $49 a month for Starter, or $34 a month on yearly billing. It is built around Facebook ads, and TikTok remains an open question: its pricing page lists TikTok ads as coming soon, while its homepage grid has a TikTok row from Premium. Starter has no shop data and no TikTok; Premium adds trending shops with traffic, revenue and top ads, a brand tracker and daily niche lists. The caps sit on the AI features: AI ad analysis and AI transcripts are limited to 10 a month on Starter and 50 on Premium, with no cap on Business.
It suits beginners who want a single tool for Facebook ads plus shop research, from Premium. Skip it if you only sell on TikTok Shop, where Kalodata goes further. Minea is included in SpyBox and does not use SpyBox credits. Read Minea's plans and limits in detail, or compare cheaper Minea alternatives.
2. PiPiAds: the TikTok ads specialist
PiPiAds Basic costs $49 a month for 30,000 credits, one user and 2 ad trackers, and Advanced costs $99 for 100,000 credits and 10 trackers. Each data item costs 1 credit and each detailed view costs 20, so Basic buys at most 1,500 detailed views a month. Enterprise costs $900 a month for 1,000,000 credits and 10 users. The free plan gives 500 credits with no detailed views.
PiPiAds covers TikTok ads, Facebook ads and TikTok Shop products, stores and ads. Its monthly prices are shown as Q4 promo prices, next to struck-through prices of $69, $159 and $1,999, and its annual plans carry a separate 50% Q4 discount. Pick it if you advertise on TikTok; if you only want TikTok Shop sales rankings, Kalodata is built for that. PiPiAds is included in SpyBox, where its searches use your monthly credits. Our full PiPiAds review covers the plans.
3. Kalodata: TikTok Shop sales data
Kalodata ranks TikTok Shop products, shops, creators, videos and live streams by estimated sales, across 15 countries according to its About page. Its pricing page cannot be read without an account, but Kalodata's blog (updated 10 August 2026) puts Starter at $45.90 a month and Professional at $99.90. Third-party sites report $38.30 and $83.20 a month on yearly billing. The 7-day trial needs no card.
Kalodata says it is not affiliated with TikTok. TikTok Shop sellers get the most from it, along with anyone who picks products from TikTok demand, since it shows sales by creator and live stream. Facebook-only advertisers can leave it aside. Kalodata is in SpyBox. See Kalodata pricing and plans, and the PiPiAds vs Kalodata comparison if you hesitate between the two.
4. FastMoss: the TikTok Shop alternative, not in SpyBox
FastMoss offers a 7-day trial with no credit card, according to its homepage, and covers more than 20 countries and regions. It tracks TikTok Shop products, shops, creators, LIVE sessions, ads and videos, with a Chrome extension and an API. The vendor claims more than 1,500 days of history. Its pricing page lists Basic at $69, Pro at $109 and Ultimate at $159 a month, with a first month at $62, $98 and $143, or $66, $88 and $104 a month on yearly billing.
FastMoss is not included in SpyBox, so you would pay for it on its own. It is worth a look if you want a long sales history, which the vendor puts at more than 1,500 days, or the Chrome extension. If you already have Kalodata, the two cover the same ground.
5. AdSpy: deep search for Facebook and Instagram ads
AdSpy has one plan at $149 a month, which its homepage calls an introductory offer. It claims more than 213.9 million ads from 30.4 million advertisers in 225 countries, all from Facebook and Instagram. No trial is mentioned.
AdSpy is included in SpyBox. With 213.9 million ads, it gives sellers who advertise on Meta a large archive to search by keyword. Look elsewhere if you sell on TikTok, or if $149 is more than your whole test budget.
6. TrendTrack: stores, brands and their ads
TrendTrack costs $49 a month for Starter, $89 for Pro and $159 for Business, or $41, $76 and $135 a month billed quarterly and $34, $62 and $111 billed yearly. Its price cards show euros to European visitors and dollars to US visitors, with the same numbers. Starter allows 5 lookups a week and 2 tracked brands; Pro allows 30 lookups and 10 brands; Business adds 3 members, no lookup cap and 20 brands. A lookup opens a brand for 24 hours. Starter only gives the store database, and the MCP starts with Pro.
From Pro, TrendTrack adds Meta, TikTok and Google ads, more than 250 million in total, to its store analytics. Spend and reach data are limited to the EU and UK, a Meta restriction. Sellers who start from brands and stores will get the most from its lookups, and its site is available in French. If TikTok Shop is your main channel, it is not the right pick. TrendTrack is part of the SpyBox catalogue, and our Minea vs TrendTrack page explains when to pick which.
7. Winning Hunter: products and ads, Pinterest included
Winning Hunter costs $49, $79 or $249 a month, or $30, $49 and $150 a month on yearly billing. The ad database (Meta, TikTok and Pinterest) starts with Standard, at $79 a month or $49 billed yearly, not with Basic. Each plan includes one user, and extra users cost $20 a month. All plans list TikTok Shop, trends and a database of more than 2 million stores.
Choose it if you also test Pinterest ads, a channel no other tool in this guide covers. It is a poor fit if you need ads on a small budget, since Basic has no ad database. You get Winning Hunter in SpyBox too.
8. Dropship.io: Shopify and TikTok Shop store tracking
Dropship.io costs $39, $59 or $99 a month, or $26, $34 and $49 a month on yearly billing. Basic tracks 10 TikTok Shops, 25 TikTok products and 10 Facebook advertisers; Premium raises that to 50, 100 and 50. Its libraries work on credits, at one credit per item viewed. The vendor says it indexes products from Shopify and TikTok Shop, and its ad library covers Facebook ads, not TikTok ads.
Use it to follow competing stores on both Shopify and TikTok Shop at a low price, from $26 a month on yearly billing. Its ad library stops at Facebook, so it helps less if TikTok ad creatives are your priority. SpyBox includes Dropship.io.
9. PPSPY: Shopify store sales
PPSPY estimates competitors' orders and best-sellers on Shopify, and claims more than 1 million active stores and 200 million products. You can filter stores by revenue, region, theme, installed apps and ad platforms. Its homepage shows no plan prices, only a 50% Q4 discount on annual plans and a trial without credit card.
Its filters by theme and installed apps make it handy for studying one-product stores before you build your own. If you need ad creatives first, start with an ad spy tool instead. PPSPY is included in SpyBox, where each search uses your monthly credits.
10. Shophunter: Shopify revenue estimates
Shophunter estimates any Shopify store's revenue, order volume and average product price, with hourly updates on the stores you track. It also has a Facebook ad spy, and its Pro plan sorts ads by product revenue. Prices are not shown on the homepage, and cancelling is self-service.
Shophunter is handy for checking that a store really sells before you launch the same product, and the hourly updates on tracked stores show changes fast. TikTok Shop sellers should look elsewhere. Shophunter comes with SpyBox as well.
11. Sell The Trend: product research with store integrations
Sell The Trend costs $49.97 a month for Essential, $99.97 for Pro and $299.97 for Pro+, or $32.97, $66.64 and $199.97 a month billed yearly. Facebook ads come with every plan; TikTok ads and TikTok Shop products start with Pro. All plans connect to Shopify, Amazon, eBay, WooCommerce, Wix and TikTok Shop, from 1 store on Essential to 5 on Pro+. The 14-day trial needs a payment method.
It is built for beginners who want product research and store tools in one place: every plan connects to six sales platforms. If you sell on TikTok, Essential is not enough, since TikTok data starts with Pro. Sell The Trend is part of SpyBox.
12. Dropispy: the budget Facebook option
Dropispy has a free plan, and Premium costs $29.90 a month, or $14.90 a month billed yearly, for 150,000 credits. Business costs $249.90 a month for 1.8 million credits. The vendor claims more than 50 million ecommerce ads, with 20,000 added each day, and a Shop Spy ranking of dropshipping stores. Its homepage does not name TikTok.
Beginners on a tight budget who mostly run Facebook ads get the most from it, at $14.90 a month on yearly billing. If you need TikTok data, pick another tool. Dropispy is also in the SpyBox catalogue.
13. Niche Scraper: AliExpress and Shopify products
Niche Scraper scrapes AliExpress and Shopify products, analyses competing stores and includes a TikTok and Facebook ad spy. It also has a daily hand-picked product list and a video maker that builds an ad from a product link. Its homepage shows no prices.
AliExpress dropshippers get product ideas and, with the video maker, a quick first ad. If you sell branded products or on TikTok Shop, it has less to offer. Niche Scraper is included in SpyBox.
14. Meta Ad Library: the free baseline
The Meta Ad Library is free, and anyone can search the ads that are active on Meta's apps. Ads shown in the EU stay in the library for one year after their last impression, and political ads are kept for 7 years with spend ranges. For regular commercial ads, Meta shows no spend or results, and outside the EU and UK an ad disappears once it stops.
Every seller should use it to check a competitor before paying for anything. It is a Meta tool, so it is not part of SpyBox. Our step-by-step guide shows how to spy on competitors' Facebook ads, starting with the Ad Library.
Best ad spy tools for dropshipping, by channel and need
Pick one ad spy tool for the channel where you advertise, then one store or TikTok Shop tool for the place where you sell.
| Your need | First choice | Also consider |
|---|---|---|
| Facebook and Instagram ads | Minea | AdSpy, Dropispy, Meta Ad Library |
| TikTok ads | PiPiAds | Winning Hunter, Sell The Trend (Pro) |
| TikTok Shop products and creators | Kalodata | FastMoss (not in SpyBox), Dropship.io |
| Shopify store sales | PPSPY | Shophunter, Dropship.io |
| Brands across Meta, TikTok and Google | TrendTrack | Minea |
| Pinterest ads | Winning Hunter (Standard) | None in this guide |
| AliExpress product ideas | Niche Scraper | Sell The Trend |
| No budget yet | Meta Ad Library | Dropispy and PiPiAds free plans |
If you are starting out, Minea alone covers Facebook ads and, from Premium, trending shops. Add Kalodata when you test TikTok Shop, and a store tool such as PPSPY once you start studying specific competitors.
A workflow to find winning products with several tools
A product is worth a test when three signals agree: it sells, its ads keep running and the stores behind it make money. No single tool shows all three, so this method chains them.
- Find demand in Kalodata. Filter TikTok Shop products by estimated sales in your country and note the creators who sell them. If you sell on Facebook first, start from Minea's product and niche lists instead.
- Check the ads in PiPiAds for TikTok, or in Minea or AdSpy for Facebook. Look at how long the ads have been running and how many versions of the same creative exist. A brand that keeps testing variants is likely spending on that product.
- Study the stores with PPSPY or Shophunter: estimated revenue, which product leads and at what price.
- Cross-check in the Meta Ad Library, for free: is the ad still active, and since when?
- Make your own creative from the angles you noted. Our guide to AI video generators for ads covers the tools, and SpyBox Crea, Kling AI and ElevenLabs sit in the same SpyBox app.
- Keep watching. Add the competitor to TrendTrack's brand tracker or to a PiPiAds ad tracker to see when it scales a product or drops it.
Estimated sales and ad age reduce the guesswork. A small paid test is still the only proof that a product works for your store.

How much do dropshipping spy tools cost together?
At the official monthly prices of 5 November 2026, one tool per channel costs $137 a month on entry plans (Minea Starter, PiPiAds Basic, Dropship.io Basic) and $446 a month on mid-range plans (Minea Premium, PiPiAds Advanced, AdSpy, Dropship.io Premium), before you add Kalodata for TikTok Shop.
The formula is simple: add the monthly price of each plan you need, then multiply by 12 for a year.
| Stack | Tools and plans | Per month | Per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lean | Minea Starter ($49), PiPiAds Basic ($49), Dropship.io Basic ($39) | $137 | $1,644 |
| Lean with TikTok Shop | Lean stack plus Kalodata Starter ($45.90, from Kalodata's blog) | $182.90 | $2,194.80 |
| Full | Minea Premium ($99), PiPiAds Advanced ($99), AdSpy ($149), Dropship.io Premium ($99) | $446 | $5,352 |
| Full with TikTok Shop | Full stack plus Kalodata Professional ($99.90, from Kalodata's blog) | $545.90 | $6,550.80 |
| SpyBox | The 5 tools above and most others in this guide, among 35 tools | €29.99 | €249.99 |
This compares each vendor's list prices. In SpyBox, every tool opens on its top plan. The tools bill in US dollars and SpyBox bills in euros, so the exchange rate shifts the comparison slightly.
The comparison has limits you should know before you decide:
- Paying longer upfront lowers the price of each tool. Minea Starter drops to $39 if you pay quarterly and $34 on yearly billing, Dropship.io to $26 on yearly billing, and PiPiAds takes 50% off annual plans during Q4 2026.
- Entry plans have caps. Minea Starter allows 10 AI ad analyses a month, PiPiAds Basic gives 30,000 credits and 2 ad trackers, and TrendTrack Starter allows 5 lookups a week.
- In SpyBox, some tools draw on the 100,000 monthly credits included in full-price monthly plans and all yearly plans. According to the SpyBox Credits page, that covers more than 3,000 PiPiAds searches or 2,700 PPSPY searches a month. Minea does not use credits.
SpyBox makes sense if you would otherwise pay for two or more of these tools, or if you want ad spy, store spy and AI creative tools in one app. Skip it if one entry plan covers your needs, if you need FastMoss or another tool outside the catalogue, or if you only work from a phone, since SpyBox is a desktop app. See all 35 tools in SpyBox or go to the SpyBox homepage to compare the plans.

FAQ
What is the best dropshipping spy tool in 2026?
No single tool wins on every channel. Minea is the most complete starting point for Facebook ads, from $49 a month. PiPiAds goes further on TikTok ads, Kalodata on TikTok Shop sales, and PPSPY or Shophunter on Shopify stores. Choose by where you advertise and where you sell, then add a second tool only when you need it.
Is there a free dropshipping spy tool?
Yes, with limits. The Meta Ad Library is free and shows every active ad on Meta's apps, without spend data for regular ads. Dropispy has a free plan, and PiPiAds gives 500 credits without detailed views. FastMoss offers a 7-day trial without a card, while the 14-day Sell The Trend trial needs a payment method.
Is the Meta Ad Library enough to find winning products?
It is enough to check a competitor you already know. You can see a Page's active ads and when each one started, and ads shown in the EU stay visible a year after they stop. It shows no spend for commercial ads and does not cover TikTok. Paid ad spy tools add history, engagement sorting and alerts.
What is the difference between an ad spy tool and a store spy tool?
An ad spy tool searches ads: the creative, the copy, the start date, the engagement and the landing page. A store spy tool looks at a Shopify store: estimated revenue, best-sellers, prices and installed apps. The ad spy finds the product, and the store spy tells you whether the store behind it sells. Many sellers pair one of each.
Do I need several spy tools?
Usually two: one for the channel where you advertise and one for where you sell. A single tool can be enough on one channel, for example PiPiAds for TikTok ads. Past two subscriptions, check the stack totals above, since a bundle such as SpyBox at €29.99 a month can cost less than paying each tool separately.
